Updates for 2021 & 2022 Show Dates

A message from our chairman.

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well and I’m please there is nearly some light at the end of this very long and dark tunnel.
Following the Government announcement last Monday, outlining the road map to some 'normality' we have been reviewing options to hold the Carrington Steam and Heritage Rally in May 2021.
However, unfortunately with timelines closing in on us for pre-event planning, it is with very heavy hearts that the Committee have decided that we will not stage Carrington Rally in May this year.
The uncertainty of the Governments road map of dates pose a risk to our rally being so early in the year. Safety is paramount; including public, exhibitor and volunteers and alongside this, the longevity of the rally. We cannot take the risk of financial losses and must protect our event for future years.
This does not mean our Committee is not working tirelessly to bring something to those missing out on so much in the last year and we are very hopeful to be able to hold a Vintage Working Weekend over August End Bank Holiday Weekend at the rally site. We will release more details later in the year once we have everything has been finalised. We need to keep the Carrington flag flying!
2022 is already in the planning to ensure a brilliant come-back for Carrington. One thing to note is that the 2022 Rally dates have slightly altered due to the Bank Holiday change for late May in line with the Queens Platinum Jubilee. The RAlly remains on the usual weekend but will be staged over Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2022. Keep an eye out on the website and social media for show details towards the middle / end of this year.
Keep safe and take care.
